Introduction

This document describes the data import logic, structure and business rules used to integrate Scrap and Rework tickets from Forvia into Mercateam’s quality_issues database.

The objective is to ensure a robust, scalable and audit-ready integration layer between Forvia operational data (currently via Excel exports) and Mercateam’s skill & performance intelligence system.

This document clarifies:

• The structure of imported datasets
• The workstation matching logic
• The duplicate prevention mechanism
• The temporary import options
• The open business questions that must be validated with Forvia

This is a transitional integration architecture pending a direct connection with Palantir’s API.
